What has always fueled me is a passion to help people through a combination of research and design. I have extensive experience working in cross-functional teams while leveraging user research data in the end-to-end design process. At Mindset Consulting, I’ve leveraged the full design thinking process for major Fortune 500 client projects with multiple stakeholders. I’ve also led cross-functional teams in iterations of Agile UX which included data-based user testing and analysis. While at Cetera Financial Group, I worked on both internal and client-focused responsive platforms, shipping major features on teams including product managers and engineers. I also helped establish their Design System and moved it closer to more inclusive accessibility and usability.   

As an former educator, I’ve channelled my passion and experience into mentoring younger designers on topics ranging from utilizing design systems, gaining product design know-how, and how to approach key client projects. A newer passion of mine is increasing the Design Thinking Maturity of organizations. On that end, I've propagated best practices in customer-centered Design through monthly presentations for an entire company while writing blogs and articles.
